There are fractions of me
Scattered all over the floor
And I feel like if I knew math
I’d be able to solve them
Puzzle them out for good

Oh, fractions, percentages, ratios, and numbers like Pi that go on forever – Hasty, dear, we’ve all got them if we take the trouble (or, experience the trouble) to see. And, if as another poet (Alfred Lord Tennyson) said, “I am part of all that I have met.”, there are bits of me scattered across a continent and beyond seas.
