Anxiety feels like
A polarized heart
With a disorganized beat
Tearing your insides apart
Looking for a solution
Inside a wired mess
Of irrational pollution
Buzzing electricity
Of an adrenaline high
As it reaches full toxicity
Painfully tense muscles
In a constant and rigid flex
Making calm breath a struggle
Anxiety feels like
Emotional electrocution
So very true my sister! Wonderfully written and beautifully express in words! God bless!

Heartbeat tapping a mournful drum
Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum
Let executioner’s ending come
Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum
The clouds have gathered across the sun
Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum
The air too heavy for breath to come
Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum
Feelings melting into one
Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum
The doom-times growing and Bad has won
Da-DUM, da-DUM, da-DUM, da-DUM
Can’t feel, can’t speak; no senses; none
DA-DUM, DA-DUM, DA-DUM, DA-DUM
It’s finished. Over. The end’s begun
DADUMDADUMDADUMDADUMDADUM
I’m done.

*MWAH* I think we experience anxiety slightly differently 🙂 Nonetheless, I love, LOVE, love that you move me to poetry so much…
