Dark is the night
And long it lasts
My demons dwell
On matters past
I lie awake
And close my eyes
I wait for sleep
As time ticks by
Slow comes the light
But as it nears
As clear as day
I see my fears
And short the day
The night draws fast
My demons lie
In shadows cast
and wait..
