Writer’s ballerina.

Free

On virgin sheets
she dances

Thrived by music
she stains
the sheer paper

Toes dipped
in blue ink
she moves
light like feather

Elegantly

Scribbled words
she floats

Sounds of dreams
she strokes
the smooth surface

Imagination
coming to life
by a trusty partner
My ballerina

Limitless

Continuing flow
She dances

By her masters soul
she glides
without fail

Surrendering
to every nudge
she becomes
A writer’s pen and ink.
