There is a new poetry prompt up on The Reverie. Do you have something gut wrenching to write? Consider submitting it for a chance to be considered for our annual anthology.
Tomorrow starts OctPoWriMo!
Don’t know what that is? It’s okay. You aren’t alone. I just found out about it this year.
I feel completely out of the loop.
But for those of you that are familiar with NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), this is sort-of the same thing, except for poets.
Which means it’s even more awesome. At least, I think so.
So this week, we’re going to get into the spirit of OctPoWriMo, where you’ll be setting a goal to post a poem a day for the entire 31 days of October.
We’re not asking you to write 31 poems for us, though. No, we want you to write us a 31 line poem. No more. No less. You’ve got 31 lines to say whatever you want!
So there’s your prompt. By next Friday. 31 lines. Go!
And there is still time to get info for OctPoWriMo
