My words get drawn
Letter by letter
And by the time they are spoken
They are nearly all faded
As transparent as invisible ink
Passed over and overlooked
Not important
Or too insignificant
The power put into them
Stolen
By passing parades
Negligent attention spans
And broken concentration
I’m awfully glad this is not the fate for your words, but it is true there are times we all know that feeling. reblogging

Have we not all felt this place?

Invisible, indelible, ink to her heart and ink to her soul, your love wanders through mountains among clouds, breaking into the clear blue, then vanishing within a white and grey coat, as it drifts along those changes, where up through each valley rises, conversation far across mountainsides.

Brilliant.
You’re like the sun
You make heat
You shine bright and I can’t look at you now
I’m like the moon
In one phase
New and dark and I can’t reflect you
