I can claim nothing
For nothing is mine
I shed candy tears
Down the precipice
Of skin covered years
I break down, devolve
Curl up into a ball
And wish for nothing
For nothing is mine
I can claim nothing
For nothing is mine
I shed candy tears
Down the precipice
Of skin covered years
I break down, devolve
Curl up into a ball
And wish for nothing
For nothing is mine
Hello, darling..
Not seen you in my reader,
for sometime?
Wonderful, childlike creativity…
Best an all my love, chris
Ps;
i throw a shy wink, emotional blink an a sweet kiss,
placed upon a silky soft hand.

I’m reminded of the song line/title by Eddy Vedder of Pearl Jam: ” I am mine.” Beautiful poem but sad.

Which immediately brings another poem to mind:
“Piglet
had a way of finding
nothing
in a hole
and calling it a Heffalump
instead.
He knew more nothing
than you or I.”

LOTS is yours, but I know the difference between knowing something and feeling it.
‘skin covered years’ is a powerful line.
