Yesterday I posted a list of books published by people I have the great honor to know.  Today I want to highlight one of those authors because he just released his latest novella Gringo Parade

Johnny is the author of the blog Johnny Ojanpera- The words I didn’t forget.  Johnny is truly a well rounded right brained artist who has captured my attention with his writing.  I have had the pleasure of writing poetry with him but I would love for you to get to know Johnny yourselves.  Below are some posts that I think best give you an idea of who he is.  I hope you visit, follow, and support him in his writing endeavors.  Because Johnny is cool!

This book represents so much in the way of my own personal growth and discovery; both as a writer and a man. Much to my surprise, I like it. In true artist form, I am generally not as excited about my creations as others are, but this is different. I hope everyone enjoys my story. My review of Gringo Parade

I was hooked from the first page.  Gringo Parade gets your attention at the very beginning and before you know it the story is finished and you are left deep in thought for days over the ideas you were presented.  There were times I caught myself shaking my head worried for the 18 year old boy who was accompanying a group of missionaries to Costa Rica.  Then, there were many times, I was shaking my head at the missions leaders. It is a fast paced read and one that will stick with you for awhile.
